We put our international visitor on the plane yesterday, and the house seems disconcertingly quiet.  There are a lot of mundane jobs to get finished before our next visitors arrive in several weeks but I’m finding it hard to concentrate.

    • Thank you. It is good to be back. In fact, I’m not all that excited about the next blog break coming up in a couple of weeks. But guests are always good for the soul. Well, I don’t actually believe in souls, but I’m sure you know what I mean.
