An elegant smash

Filed under: Just Stuff — theotheri @ 4:01 pm

I have just learned a new word:

busticate

It means exactly what it sounds like – to smash or break up.

But it sounds as if it were made up by an enthusiastic four-year old with a hammer:  “I’m going to busticate this thing to pieces” which makes it even better.

Why settle for merely busting something up if one can busticate it?

Is busicate is related to the word “bustle”?
